We are seeking a talented and motivated Global Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Data & AI team in BioMar. As a Global BI Consultant, you will be at the forefront of supporting our organization as part of our data-driven journey. You will work with stakeholders across the company to identify key business questions and design and develop BI solutions that enable self-service reporting and visualization.
The Data & AI team is a global team supporting BioMar’s 17 different sites around the world. As the new Global BI Consultant, you will be located at the Dueñas office with regular presence in the facilities as a requirement, and welcomed by 7 colleagues from the Data & AI team located in Spain, Denmark, and Norway.
The team’s responsibilities lie within Business Intelligence, Master Data Management and AI. The work is based on an agile set-up, and you will become part of an ambitious and professional group of colleagues with a warm, patient, and welcoming team spirit
The position:
In this position, you will become a key player in the success of releasing the potential in data in the newly established global data and BI reporting platform called BioMetrics.
You will be at the forefront of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, and will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
§ Identify and analyze trends, develop reports, and build data models that inform strategic decision-making
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and objectives, and translate them into actionable insights
§ Contribute as BI developer on selected BI projects in collaboration with business representatives and BI colleagues
§ Engage in BioMar’s Global Data Analyst community by taking lead and inspire others on how to release the potential in data with Tableau and data analysis in general
§ Teach and support BioMar’s data analysts and end users in using BioMar’s global reports and reporting tools
§ Work with cutting-edge BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau and Microsoft Azure SQL DB)
Your profile:
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in business intelligence, data analysis, and project management/coordination. You should be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders from different cultures and backgrounds and have a passion for delivering exceptional result.
More formally, we expect that you:
§ Have 2+ years of experience from a similar role
§ Either have experience from working in a global or central BI department serving different business units or has this as a high motivational factor
§ Preferably have experience from or high interest in working within the area of manufacturing and sustainability
§ Hold an academic degree within IT, computer science or similar
§ You preferably have experience with SQL and Tableau/Power BI
§ Master English fluently and preferably Spanish
