
The Nueva Pescanova Group has reported a significant improvement in its financial performance for the first half of 2025, with EBITDA increasing by 73% to €27 million, up from €15.6 million in the same period last year. The company also recorded a 7.9% rise in sales, reaching €490.9 million.
The improvement in profitability has been accompanied by a 65% reduction in losses, driven largely by the company’s ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and implement a renewed commercial strategy. These actions are aimed at enhancing the profitability of its operations and controlling costs, while also prioritizing higher-value activities.
According to the company, “the improvement in results is primarily driven by operational efficiency measures focused on enhancing the profitability of all activities and controlling costs, along with the renewal of the commercial strategy to prioritise higher-value operations.” Nueva Pescanova highlights that “these iniatiatives, made possible by the commitment and efforts of the entire organisation, have been key to this positive development.”
The first-half results are in line with the company’s forecast, confirming that it remains on track to close the year with a positive net result. “The half-year results confirm the company’s forecast, meaning that the Group remains on track to achieve a positive net result.”
Nueva Pescanova states that it “continues to meet its target and advance in its recovery, maintaining its strategy to strengthen its financial position and consolidate improvements in the coming months.”
