Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, the world’s largest seafood trade event, has announced the launch of a dedicated Aquaculture Innovation Pavilion for its next edition.

The pavilion will make its debut during the 2026 event, scheduled for 21–23 April at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Vía venue.

The new space will connect aquaculture technology providers with the global seafood industry, bringing together companies specialising in equipment, aquafeed, and fish health and welfare.

According to the organisers, the pavilion will provide a platform for suppliers, startups and researchers developing solutions in farm management, environmental monitoring, smart feeding, genetics and water treatment.

Organisers emphasise that the area will “attract a highly targeted global audience of hatcheries staff, investors, policymakers and other innovators in the aquaculture space.” In addition to the exhibition, the pavilion will host an aquaculture meet-up and expert-led conference sessions on technological advancements driving sector innovation.

The 2025 edition of Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global welcomed more than 35,000 participants, confirming Barcelona as a key hub for the international seafood industry.
