With a stellar line-up of keynote speeches, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking events, the European Aquaculture Conference (AE2025VAL), taking place from 22–25 September 2025, is set to inspire and connect professionals from across Europe and around the globe. Under the theme “Aquaculture for Everyone”, AE2025VAL will bring together industry leaders, academics, and policymakers to exchange groundbreaking ideas, forge valuable collaborations, and explore state-of-the-art technologies driving sustainable aquaculture forward.

This year’s conference features a wide-ranging programme, including parallel and thematic sessions that delve into diverse topics such as:

  • Emerging challenges, including microplastics, biosecurity, and precision technologies linked to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT);
  • Core topics, including reproduction, genetics, alternative nutrition ingredients, biodiversity, health management, and sustainable farming practices, which will be explored in depth through presentations and discussions.
