European Parliament calls for less administrative burden on aquaculture producers

In its resolution on the evaluation of the CFP, Parliament also backs easier access to EU funding and continued adequate financial support for fisheries and aquaculture.

The position adds to the wider debate over the EU’s post-2027 funding framework, while the resolution itself does not introduce new rules on immediately reduce administrative requirements for farms.
